Membership

To become a member of AMSA for the upcoming semester

• New membership fee = $35
• Returning membership fee = $30
• GPA must be greater than a 3.0

Dues are required within the first 4 weeks of school in order to obtain the free member T-shirt. In order to attend exclusive AMSA events during the semester, membership application and dues must be submitted 1 week in advance. 

To become an officer of AMSA

• Application must be submitted 5 weeks before the upcoming semester
• GPA must be greater than a 3.3
• Applicant has been a member of AMSA for at least 1 semester
• Applicant appointed  by director of committee and received approval by executive board

Officer applicants must acquire approval within 4 weeks before the upcoming semester in order to obtain the officer polo. Upon approval, the officer will receive their designation. 

To become an executive of AMSA

• Applicant must undergo interview by current executives
• GPA must be greater than a 3.5
• Applicant appointed by president and received approval by board of executives

Payments can be made through cashapp at $UTSAAMSA , or in person to our treasurer.
